Final Decision Regarding Wright City Post Office Location

WRIGHT CITY, MO - In accordance with 39 C.F.R. § 241.4, this is the United States Postal Service’s final decision with respect to the Postal Service’s proposal to relocate retail services from the above-referenced Post Office to a new location within Wright City. The Postal Service has initially identified the property located at 109 NW Ave. to be purchased to allow Postal Service to either expand or build a new Post Office. If this location is not adequate or the sale of the property is not completed, the Postal Service will consider other sites.

Due to the growth of the community, the Postal Service determined its current facility is undersized.

The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were previously provided to our customers at the previous location. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to continue services at the current Post Office until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.
