The U.S. Postal Service will send out a postcard for the Barnett Post Office located at 409 2nd St., Barnett, MO 65011-1002.

Background:

Due to the structural and safety concerns, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail services to a yet-to-be-determined location within 2 miles of the 409 2nd St. location. The desired size of the new facility needs to be one of the following: (a) lease an existing building that is about 770 gross SF with 9+ parking or b) find land to lease that is about 8,500 SF to allow for a new postal owned modular building to be constructed outside of the 100-year flood plain.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the Eldon MO Post Office until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
