Proposed Relocation Bois D’Arc MO Post Office

What:

The U.S. Postal Service will send out a postcard for the Bois D’Arc Post Office located at 10507 W State Hwy T, Bois D’Arc, MO 65612-9998.

Background:

Due to a fire that destroyed the facility in Bois D’Arc MO, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail services to a yet-to-be-determined location within two miles of the 10507 W State Hwy T location. The desired size of the new facility needs to be one of the following: (a) lease an existing building that is about 770 gross SF with 7+ parking, or b) find land to lease that is about 8,500 SF to allow for a new postal owned modular building to be constructed outside of the 100-year flood plain.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the Willard MO Post Office located at 107 Willey St. until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
