The U.S. Postal Service will send out a postcard for the Macks Creek Post Office located at 13073 W US Highway 54, Macks Creek, MO 65786-9998.

Background:

Due to the severe uncorrectable safety issues with the building in Macks Creek MO, the Postal Service is now looking for a new potential relocation of retail service to a yet-to-be-determined location within two miles of the 13073 W US Highway 54 location. The Postal Service will be considering the following options: (a) an existing building that is about 2,150 SF with 14+ parking (b) land to purchase that is about 35,000 SF to build a new facility, or (c) land to lease that is about 15,000 SF to place a postal owned building. All need to be out of the 100-year flood plain.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the Pittsburg MO location until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
