Final Decision Regarding Mack Creek Post Office Located At 13073 W US Highway 54, Macks Creek, MO 65786-9998

Macks Creek, MO – In accordance with 39 C.F.R. 241.4, this is the United States Postal Service’s final decision with respect to the Postal Services proposal to relocate retail services from the above-referenced Post Office to a site within two miles of the former location. The Postal Service has initially identified the southeast corner of US Hwy. 54 & Woodall Rd., Macks Creek, MO 65786. If this location is not adequate or an agreement cannot be reached with its owner, the Postal Service will consider other sites.

The Postal Service is considering relocation because of severe uncontrollable safety issues with the previous building. The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were previously provided to our customers at the previous location. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to continue services at the Pittsburg, MO, Post Office until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.
