Final Decision Regarding New London Post Office Located At 312 S Main St. New London, MO 63459-9998

New London, MO — In accordance with 39 C.F.R. 241.4, this is the United States Postal Service’s final decision with respect to the Postal Services proposal to relocate retail services from the above-referenced Post Office to a site within two miles of the former location. The Postal Service has initially identified 405 1st St., New London, MO 63459-9998 as the potential location. If this location is not adequate or an agreement cannot be reached with its owner, the Postal Service will consider other sites.

The Postal Service is considering relocation because of severe uncontrollable safety issues with the previous building. The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were previously provided to our customers at the previous location. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to continue services at the Frankford, MO, Post Office until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.
