Mississippi — The U.S. Postal Service has implemented a temporary suspension of retail and Post Office Box operations at the Scott Post Office, One Cotton Row, Scott, MS 38772 until further notice due to unsafe conditions.

Customers may conduct retail transactions at the Shaw Post Office, 100 Faison Street, Shaw, MS 38773. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.– 11:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.–4:15 p.m., and Saturday, 9:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m. The Post Office is closed on Sunday. With proper identification, Scott Post Office Box customers may pick up their mail at the Shaw Post Office.

Mail delivery will not be impacted by this temporary suspension.
