Poplarville, MS — The U.S. Postal Service encourages the public to share their comments on a proposal to relocate the Poplarville Main Post Office. The building conditions at the existing Post Office at 301 S Main Street, Poplarville, MS 39470 necessitate a move.

The Postal Service proposes moving to a new location of approximately 6,000 square feet for retail services as close to the current location as possible and within the city limits. The proposed new facility will maintain the same level of service. This relocation project will involve procuring a suitable substitute location, preparing the new location for use as a Post Office, and then transitioning retail services. The Postal Service will continue retail services at the current location until the new Post Office is operational.
