USPS Plans to Relocate Retail Services For Poplarville, MS Main Post Office

POPLARVILLE, MS — The U.S. Postal Service will proceed with the relocation of retail services currently serving the public at the mobile retail unit at the Poplarville, MS Post Office at 301 S Main Street, Poplarville, MS 39470. Retail operations are being relocated due to the condition of the Poplarville, MS Post Office building.

The Postal Service anticipates an announcement of the new location in the near future.

The Postal Service mailed a postcard to local residents and businesses asking for community input on February, 28, 2024. The Postal Service properly considered community input and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives. The new location will ensure that adequate and affordable postal services are as efficient and economical as possible. Until a new location is announced, customers may continue to conduct retail transactions at the mobile retail unit Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Postal service is not available on Sunday.
