Postal Service will Showcase New Vehicles and Facility Upgrades as Part of $40 Billion Nationwide Investment Strategy

As part of its transformation and modernization strategies, the U.S. Postal Service is investing $40 billion nationwide to revitalize the organization and bolster its unrivaled integrated mail and package network to ensure long-term improvements to service performance. Local USPS leadership invites you to an exclusive tour of its Sorting and Delivery Center (SDC) in Hattiesburg, MS and witness the unveiling of its new package sorting machines and upgraded delivery vehicles.

At the event, you’ll hear from USPS experts on: 

  • How and why the organization is investing in local facilities across the nation. 
  • How these investments will improve service performance in the state. 
  • How USPS is expanding its role as the nation’s end-to-end carrier of choice.
  • How recent facility and vehicle fleet upgrades position the Postal Service to provide fast, reliable and affordable service to the American public for decades to come.
