ST. REGIS, MT — Following community notification and U.S. Postal Service review of all public feedback, the Postal Service has made a final decision to relocate retail services from the St. Regis Post Office, located at 90 Mullan Rd. W, to a new facility in St. Regis located at 330 MT-135.

The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were provided to our customers at the existing Post Office. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to continue services at the existing Post Office until September 30, 2021, after which services may have to temporarily locate to Superior, MT, until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.

While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the St. Regis, MT, community, the USPS properly considered community input and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
