Manages USPS Services for Clancy Community

David Sorensen

Clancy, MT — David Sorensen has been with the Postal Service for four years. In that time his work ethic and dedication helped pave the way for his newest job as Clancy’s Postmaster.

Born and raised in Oregon, Sorensen began his Montana Postal Service adventure in Melville as a mail processing clerk. He also served as a part time flexible window clerk in White Sulphur Springs.

He says there is a lot to look forward to, “[I’m] excited about the challenge, [and to] learn and grow with the Postal Service.”

In his new position, Sorensen supplies the Postal needs of the Clancy and Montana City communities. His office serves 2,500 addresses, 300 Post Office boxes, and he oversees seven employees.

His customers will benefit from his experience and professionalism. And as Postmaster, he is part of the “Delivering for America” 10-year plan to achieve financial sustainability and service excellence.

Sorensen is a member of the American Legion and enjoys woodworking in his spare time.
