USPS Continues Uninterrupted Service to Coram, MT

Post Office Remains in Current Location

Coram, MT — Earlier this year, the contractor who was providing service to the Coram, Montana Contract Postal Unit (CPU) decided to not renew their commitment. There was a search for a new vendor, but it was unsuccessful.

In order to provide uninterrupted service to the community, the Postal Service is leasing a space in the same facility and is establishing a Village Post Office (VPO). This ensures consistent, daily mail delivery without interruption. 

The only noticeable change is the VPO is unable to provide retail services. However, customers can visit the full-service retail location in Hungry Horse, 2.5 miles away.

Improving our facilities is just one part of the Postal Service’s larger 10-year Delivering for America plan to achieve financial stability and service excellence.
