TOAST, NC — The Toast Post Office, located at 1110 W. Pine St., is extending its hours beginning on March 18 as an added customer convenience.

The Post Office will now offer Saturday morning hours and will be open two additional hours each weekday.

“Extending Post Office hours gives us a better opportunity to serve the needs of our customers” said Toast Postmaster John Palmer. “We look forward to serving our customers throughout the day, including a little earlier in the morning, a little later in the evening and even on Saturday mornings.”

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
