CHARLOTTE – One forever stamp for collectors, one giant event for philatelists. Stamp collectors and enthusiasts will gather in Charlotte for a two-day event showcasing stamps and other philatelic products for the Charpex Annual Stamp and Postcard Show.
The Postal Service will offer philatelic items and a variety of stamps for sale, including the new First Moon Landing Forever Stamp with a special cancellation (see figure below) to honor the 50th anniversary of the historic event.

The special postmark can be also ordered by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Postmaster, Charlotte Station, 2901 Scott Futrell, Charlotte, NC 28228-9997. Mail order requests for the postmark will be honored for 30 days following the event.
