Postal officials continue to monitor conditions in areas in the path of the storm
GREENSBORO, NC — Due to the mandatory evacuation orders and hazardous weather caused by Hurricane Dorian, the Postal Service has announced the temporary suspension of mail delivery and retail operations in North Carolina.
Postal Service employees in impacted areas have been working to secure the mail, postal facilities and equipment in advance of the arrival of Hurricane Dorian.

Additional information regarding postal operations within specific ZIP Codes will be issued by the Postal Service as necessary. Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) to obtain information, including alternate Post Office retail locations, or check www.usps.com.
