USPS to Host Grow Your Business Events Throughout North Carolina in May

CHARLOTTE, NC – U.S. Postal Service will hold “Grow Your Business” events to discuss USPS products and services tailored to business customers.

USPS business development specialists will be available to discuss Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM), Informed Delivery and other services offered to business owners.

  • Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) – helps business owners promote their products and/or services through efficient and affordable business mailings without the cost of mailing lists or permits.
  • Informed Delivery – a free and optional notification feature that gives residential consumers the ability to digitally preview their letter-sized mail and manage their packages scheduled to arrive soon. Informed Delivery benefits the entire household by allowing users to view what is coming to their mailbox whenever, wherever – even while traveling – on a computer, tablet, or mobile device.

“We periodically hold these seminars not only to educate, but also to receive feedback from customers to determine the needs of small business owners,” said North Carolina District Marketing Manager Tori White.

There will be an opportunity for business customer to learn about the simple process of selecting a campaign message, target audience and preparation of EDDM mailings. Customers will be able to sign up for Informed Delivery and learn more about its capabilities.

“We will provide information on how to do it yourself or with the assistance of mailing house vendors,” said White. “Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the effectiveness of direct mail.”

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
