GREENSBORO, NC – The U.S. Postal Service plans to relocate the Friendly Center Post Office, located at 310 Pembroke Road to 3116 Northline Ave.

The Postal Service is proceeding with relocation because the landlord of the current location has decided not to extend the lease.

The new facility will allow the Postal Service to maintain and improve our service to the community. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to provide services at the current location until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.

While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the community, the Postal Service properly considered community input and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
