Postal Service Plans Relocation of Fleetwood Post Office

FLEETWOOD, NC — The U.S. Postal Service plans to relocate the Fleetwood Post Office, formerly located at 910 Railroad Grade Road, to a yet-to-be-determined location as close as reasonably possible to the current site that is suitable to our operational needs.

The Postal Service is considering relocation because the former location was damaged beyond repair.

Since the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on our customers and the community, customer input will be sought and considered when determining a new location. Fleetwood customers will be notified via signage and through a local mailing how to submit comments concerning a new location. In addition, when that new location is determined we will announce the decision to the community through signage and local mailing.
