Postal Service Plans Relocation of Charlotte Yorkmont Post Office

CHARLOTTE, NC — The U.S. Postal Service plans to relocate the Charlotte Yorkmont Post Office, located at 4800 Express Drive, to a yet-to-be-determined location within a three-mile radius of the current site that is suitable to our operational needs.

The Postal Service will continue retail services at the current location until the new post office is up and running.

Since the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on our customers and the community, customer input will be sought and considered when determining a new location. Charlotte Yorkmont customers will be notified via signage and through a local mailing how to submit comments concerning a new location. In addition, when that new location is determined we will announce the decision to the community through signage and local mailing.
