Postal Service Continues Relocation Plans of Webster Post Office

WEBSTER, NC — The U.S. Postal Service continues plans to relocate the Webster Post Office, previously located at 1345 Webster Road, to a yet-to-be-determined location within two miles of the previous location. Relocation is being considered because the lease was not renewed.

The Postal Service’s goal is to find a new location that is convenient for customers and suitable for our operational needs. Webster customers in need of retail services can continue to visit the Sylva Main Office, 271 Jackson Plaza, until the new Webster location is ready to serve customers.

Since the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact this decision has on our customers and the community, customer input will be sought and considered as we continue the relocation process. Webster customers will be notified via signage at the Sylva Post Office and through a local mailing about the opportunity to submit comments.
