Lexington Post Office to Open at New Location on June 3

LEXINGTON, NC — The Postal Service plans to open the new location for the Lexington Post Office on June 3, at 716 S. Main St.

The new location will have the same retail hours as the previous location, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

“Moving into the new Post Office will help us serve the growing Lexington community for years to come,” said Postmaster Michael Kamel. “We look forward to providing the same great service to our customers at the new location.”

In choosing a new location, the Postal Service had to consider a location that was convenient for customers and suitable for its long-term operational need.
