LAWTON, ND — The U.S. Postal Service has temporarily suspended retail and P.O. Box operations at the Lawton Post Office. The facility will be closed until unscheduled repairs can be fully completed.

Retail and P.O. Box services for Lawton Post Office customers are now available at:

Edmore Post Office
315 S. Main St.
Edmore, ND  58330
Mon – Fri 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Sat 8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.
Closed Sundays

There is no impact to normal mail delivery, however signature items will need to be picked up at the Edmore location.

Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS or go to the Postal Service’s website, www.usps.com, to get information on nearby Post Offices and approved postal retail service providers.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
