Proper Addressing Ensures Accurate Delivery

In 2015, local community officials completed the process of converting addresses to a 911 format, i.e. House Number and Street. All addresses are now in the Address Management System and mailers should recognize the new format.

Please ensure you use your officially assigned address. This will help us to provide you with the most efficient service and avoid any mail being returned to sender, due to incomplete addressing of your mail.

Add your new address to your mailbox and to the outside of your home, to ensure your residence can be easily identified.

Here is what you can expect during this transition.

You will each receive a letter with your correct address. Please begin using it, immediately.

You will continue to receive your mail and won’t have to put in a change of address, because your new 911 address will be linked to the old address.

To make the transition go smoothly, please start using your new address as soon as you receive your letter with the information. Again, please put your new address on your mailbox and your house, to ensure your address can be located.

For any questions or concerns please feel free to call Roberta Barclay APO Postmaster of Winnebago Post Office at 402-878-2822. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
