Now is the time to plan for that spring or summer trip. To make it easier to apply for a U.S. Passport, the Manchester Post Office is offering extended processing hours for passport applications, with no appointment necessary, from 9 am to 2 pm Saturday and Sunday, January 18 and 19.

Just stop by the Manchester Post Office at 955 Goffs Falls Rd between 9 am and 2 pm either day. Postal clerks can even take your passport photo if you do not have one.

Postmaster Todd Holm says “With routine passport processing times of six to eight weeks, it’s never too early to start planning for that next vacation. And we’re here to help.” He cites USPS.com as an excellent resource for getting passport paperwork and locating other acceptance facilities across the nation.
