Newark Postal Officials Want To Hear From You

March 19 is Customer Appreciation Day at Springfield Ave Post Office

NEWARK NJ —Postal officials want to hear from you if you have a question, suggestion, or comment about your mail service in Newark. To expand the lines of communications and identify opportunities to improve service, Newark postal officials are hosting Customer Appreciation Day on March 19 at the Springfield Avenue Station Post Office, 290 Springfield Avenue.  Postal managers will be in the Springfield Avenue Post Office lobby from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. on Tuesday to thank customers for their business and solicit community feedback. Light refreshments will be served.   
Have a comment, question, or compliment and can’t make it to the Springfield Avenue Station Post Office Customer Appreciation Day on March 19?  Newark postal officials recommend: 

  • Calling the Newark NJ Customer Relations Office at 973-693-5116; 
  • Calling the Postal Service’s Northern NJ District Consumer & Industry Contact Office at 732-819-3260; 
  • Calling the Postal Service’s Customer Care Center at 1-800-ASK-USPS, that’s 1-800-275-8777;
  • Sending an email by visiting the Postal Service’s USPS.com website, clicking  on “Contact Us” at the bottom of the homepage, and following the prompts;
  • Voicing your opinion about a Post Office retail experience by participating in the Point Of Sale (POS) survey by following the directions on the retail sales receipt. 

Whether sharing comments in person at the March 19 Springfield Avenue Post Office Customer Appreciation Day, by phone, by email, or by completing a retail POS survey; Newark postal officials assure the community that their feedback will be carefully documented and appropriate action taken to strengthen service.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund operations.
