Linden Post Office Proposal to be Discussed at May 21 Public Meeting

Written Comments Can be Submitted Up To 30 Days After Public Meeting

LINDEN, NJ — As part of the Postal Service’s commitment to community input, postal representatives will present a relocation proposal for the Linden NJ Station A Post Office at a May 21 public meeting at 7 p.m. at the Council Chambers City Hall, 301 North Wood Avenue, Linden NJ. The public is invited.

At the meeting postal officials will provide a comprehensive overview of the proposal and invite public input. Linden’s Station A Post Office, formerly located at 340 West Saint George Avenue, closed due to the loss of lease.

Written comments are being accepted up to 30 days after the May 21 public meeting. Comments must be in writing, identify the post office by name, and sent to: Kurtis Bullard - Real Estate Specialist, United States Postal Service, P.O. Box 27497, Greensboro NC 27498-1103.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
