EDISON, NJ — Members of the Greater New Jersey Postal Customer Council (GNJ PCC) completed PCC Boot Camp on Tuesday, August 20 at the Kilmer Facility in Edison, New Jersey. With a combination of postal and industry speakers, the all-day PCC Boot Camp session was designed to provide a forum of open communication and education to help identify best practices for bolstering the good working relationships between the Postal Service and the mailing industry.
USPS Northern NJ District Marketing Manager Mariset Arroyo opened the PCC Boot Camp and introduced GNJ PCC Postal Co-Chair / USPS Northern NJ District Manager Michael Deignan. During his welcoming remarks, Mr. Deignan emphasized the importance and benefits of the partnership that the PCC Program provides between the Postal Service and the mailing industry.
The interactive presentations by USPS Headquarters speakers Lindsey Taylor, Cathy Scocco, and Da Sheik Woodard from Washington D.C. provided administrative guidance and direction on the best way to get the most from the PCC experience. Mark Fallon, the President of Berkshire Company, shared valuable insight and highlighted proven PCC educational opportunities. Dina Kessler, COO of Kessler Creative and Northeast Florida PCC executive board member, talked about innovative marketing strategies for growing PCC membership.
With chapters across the nation, PCCs are groups of mailing industry leaders and senior postal managers who meet regularly to exchange mutually beneficial ideas.
