BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Postmaster Barbara Puglisi is announcing it may be a little more difficult to zip into the Bridgewater Post Office parking lot starting Tuesday, October 1 as work begins on an eight week major repaving project. The parking lot construction is expected to last through November 30 at the 495 North Bridge Street Post Office.
“This is major undertaking and we would ask for everyone’s patience during construction,” says Postmaster Puglisi. “As the work proceeds, safety remains our top priority for the public, postal employees, and the contractors,” emphasizes Puglisi.
The Postmaster emphasizes there will be no changes to regular business hours: Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturdays. There is also no impact to mail delivery made by the Bridgewater Post Office employees and the 24-hour access to the Bridgewater postal lobby with a self-service kiosk remains the same.
“We look forward to providing the community and our employees with a brand new parking lot when the work is completed,” concludes the Bridgewater Postmaster.
