Greater NJ PCC Collects Food At Holiday Meeting For Eva’s Kitchen

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Over 200 pounds of food donations for Eva’s Kitchen were collected from generous attendees at the Greater New Jersey Postal Customer Council Holiday Meeting on December 4 at the Madison Hotel in Morristown. Based in Paterson NJ, Eva’s Kitchen has been feeding the most neglected and vulnerable members of the community since 1982.

In addition to the generous donations to Eva’s Kitchen, the Greater New Jersey PCC Holiday Meeting included presentations by postal and industry speakers. The meeting keynote speaker was USPS Northeast Area Vice President Eric Chavez, who provided an overview of postal operations in the Northeast and outlook for mail services in 2020. 

Additional presenters included: Greater NJ PCC Industry Co-Chair / NJ Advanced Media Direct Marketing Director Isabella Mest, Greater NJ PCC Postal Co-Chair / USPS Northern NJ District Manager Michael Deignan, USPS Pricing & Classification Service Center Classification Support Specialist Juan Tosado, and Greater NJ PCC Executive Board Member / OSG Billing Manager Bob May.

With chapters across the nation, PCCs are groups of mailing industry leaders and senior postal managers who meet regularly to exchange mutually beneficial ideas. The PCC program provides an effective platform for an ongoing dialogue between the U.S. Postal Service and its mailing industry customers.
