Cassville Station Public Meeting

The U.S. Postal Service is conducting a public meeting to discuss a discontinuance feasibility study regarding the former Cassville Postal Station that was located at 520 W. Veterans HWY, in Jackson.

Background:

In December, 2012, USPS conducted an emergency suspension of services at the Cassville Postal Station, after the lease expired and was unable to be renegotiated. The operations were consolidated into the Jackson Post Office.

On February 26, 2020 at 7 p.m., representatives from the Post Office will be holding a public meeting at the Jackson Post Office, 915 Bennetts Mills Rd. Jackson NJ 08527, to consider public input.

Please submit your response no later than March 1, 2020. Responses received will be included in the study and considered carefully before any final determination is made.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
