MAHWAH, NJ — Postmaster Michael Watts is announcing the new Mahwah Post Office is opening on Monday, June 15 at 1037 MacArthur Boulevard.  The retail hours at the new Post Office are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Although originally announced as 8:30 am. - 4 p.m., Saturday hours will actually be 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Post Office Box lobby hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

The new 2,200 sq. ft. Mahwah Post Office features state-of-the-art Point Of Sale retail units, a modern customer service counter area, and a contemporary Post Office Box lobby. It replaces the former location at 12 East Ramapo Avenue.  

‘We are excited about opening our new location at 1037 MacArthur Boulevard on June 15,” said Postmaster Watts. “The community and our employees are going to find the new Post Office to be a convenient, modern, and great place to do business,” adds the Mahwah Postmaster. 

In anticipation of the June 15 opening at the new 1037 MacArthur Boulevard location, current Post Office Box holders can pick up their new keys at the temporary 46 Industrial Drive location from Monday, June 8 through Saturday, June 13. The keys will also be available at the new location when it opens on Monday, June 15.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
