EDISON, NJ — To ease some of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, Northern New Jersey postal officials are expanding weekend hours in December at select Post Offices.

Twelve Northern NJ Post Offices are offering special Sunday full service retail hours on Dec 6, 13, and 20. They include: Bridgewater 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Clifton – Allwood Station 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., East Brunswick 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Elizabeth Main Post Office 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Jersey Main Post Office 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., Jersey City – Hudson Station 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Jersey City – Journal Square 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Livingston Main Post Office 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Newark – Roseville Station 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Ridgewood 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Sparta 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., and Wayne – Sheffield Station 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.       

As an added convenience, 11 Northern New Jersey Post Offices are expanding their Saturday retail business hours on Dec 5, 12, and 19. The offices and the special holiday season Saturday hours are: Annandale 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Paterson Main Post Office 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Rockaway 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Highland Lakes 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Ledgewood 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Liberty Corner 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., Columbia 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Stanhope 9 a.m. – 2p.m., Harrison 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Garwood 8 :30 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Ringwood 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

If you got an attempted delivery notice in your mailbox, 12 Northern New Jersey Post Offices are expanding package pickup to include Sundays on Dec 6, 13, and 20. The Post Offices and their Sunday package pickup hours include: Bayonne Main Post Office 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Bloomfield Main Post Office 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.,  East Orange Main Post Office 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Irvington 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Jersey City – Bergen North Station 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., Jersey City – Bergen South Station 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., Newark – Springfield Avenue Station 7 a.m. – 11 a.m., North Bergen Main Post Office 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., Paterson Main Post Office 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Union Main Post Office 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.,, Union City Main Post Office 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., and the West New York Main Post Office 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
