Virtual and in-person job fairs scheduled to fill hundreds of positions statewide

NEW JERSEY — The U.S. Postal Service is hosting virtual job fairs on Tuesday, Dec. 28 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. and on Wednesday, Dec. 29 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. to fill immediate openings for positions ahead of application deadlines on Jan. 8, 2022.

Virtual events will help applicants fill hundreds of career-path positions, earning around $19 an hour, with health and leave benefits, in delivery, processing, and retail across the state of New Jersey.

Employement experts will help candidates fill the following open positions: Carrier Assistant (CCA), Postal Support Employee Mail Processing Clerk (PSE MPC), Postal Support Employee Sales & Service Distribution Associate (PSE SSDA), Tractor Trailer Operator (TTO), Rural Carrier Associate (RCA), and Mail Handler Assistant (MHA).

Attendees must register in advance by scanning the QR code or by visiting the corresponding weblink:

Candidates can also complete prescreening/fingerprinting and fill applications at Post Office job fair events in January:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Brick Post Office (160 Chambers Road Brick, NJ 08723)
  • Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the  Jersey City Post Office (69 Montgomery Street Jersey City, NJ  07302)
  • Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Newark Post Office (2 Federal Square Newark, NJ 07102)
  • Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Trenton Post Office (680 US Highway 130 Hamilton, NJ  08650)
