USPS Job Fairs to Be Held Throughout New Jersey

NEW JERSEY — The United States Postal Service will host hiring events at New Jersey Post Offices.

Postal staff will provide information about delivering for America, answer questions about postal careers, and help applicants to fill delivery roles currently open in New Jersey. In addition to full-time positions, the Postal Service is actively hiring 28,000 seasonal employees nationwide.

These events will support recruitment for mail delivery positions called Assistant Rural Carriers (ARC), Rural Carrier Assistants (RCA), City Carrier Assistants (CCA), Mail Processing Clerks (PSE), and Mail Handler Assistants (MHA). ARC and RCA positions pay $19.06 hourly, CCA positions pay $18.92 hourly, PSE positions pay $19.62 hourly, and MHA positions pay $17.32 hourly. These positions come with health, vacation time, and sick leave benefits.

 To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be onsite at the job fair to provide detailed information about the positions and to answer questions. Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers. Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a background investigation. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays. Job postings are updated frequently, so check back often for additional opportunities.
