A celebration of retiring employees and an award ceremony for drivers who completed one million miles or have 30 years of driving experience without a preventable motor vehicle accident.

Background:

Letter Carriers Flood, Hethcote, Meloni, and Rusk achieved an extraordinary milestone, driving one million miles for the U.S. Postal Service without a single preventable accident—enough distance to circle the globe 160 times. In recognition of this significant achievement, they will receive a plaque from the National Safety Council and automatic lifetime membership in the prestigious “Million Mile Club.” There will also be celebration of the retirement of 46-year Vehicle Operations and Maintenance Assistant Meade Meadow and 37-year Business Mail Entry Unit Clerk Mike Wright.
