Santa Fe Place and De Vargas Center Post Offices Temporarily Relocate

SANTA FE, NM — Due to the temporary closure of mall locations across New Mexico, the Santa Fe Place and De Vargas Post Offices are temporarily relocating.

The Postal Service is providing the following arrangements for customers served by the Santa Fe Place and De Vargas Post Offices:

  • Operations at the Santa Fe Place Post Office, 4250 Cerrillos Rd, Ste. 1250 Santa Fe, NM, 87507 will be relocated to the Coronado Post Office, 2071 S Pacheco St, Santa Fe, NM, 87505. Hours at the Coronado Post Office are 8:30a.m.–5:30p.m. M-F, and 9:00a.m.–3p.m. on Saturday. The office is closed on Sunday.
  • Operations at the De Vargas Post Office, 534 N Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, NM, 87501 will be relocated to the Santa Fe Main Post Office, 120 S Federal Pl, Ste. 101, Santa Fe, NM, 87501. Hours at the Main Post Office are 8:30a.m.–5:30p.m. M-F, and 9:00a.m.–3p.m. on Saturday. The office is closed on Sunday.

Customers from the Santa Fe Place or De Vargas Post Offices who are picking up P.O. Box mail at the alternate locations must do so at the retail counter during normal business hours. A valid picture ID is required to pick up P.O. Box mail. This is a temporary relocation of these offices, not a permanent closure. Additional details will be provided as they become available regarding the reopening of these offices.

Customers are reminded that the Post Office is always open, 24/7 including holidays, at www.usps.com. Customers can skip the trip to the post office to mail a letter, ship a package, or purchase stamps. Additionally, postage stamps can easily be purchased at many area retail businesses, like grocery stores, drug stores and big-box stores outside of a traditional Post Office.

Using usps.com, customers can look up a ZIP Code, request free Priority Mail Flat Rate packaging, hold their mail, set up Premium Forwarding Service, and even print a mailing label and pay for postage using Click-N-Ship.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
