SANTA FE, NM – The Post Office located in DeVargas Center will reopen on Monday, May 4 to customers for retail and P.O. Box mail services, U.S. Postal Service officials announced today.
“We’re very happy to be open again and appreciate our customers’ continued patience and understanding,” Santa Fe Officer in Charge Billy Fetterhoff Jr. said today.
Retail services at the DeVargas Post Office, located at 534 N Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, NM, 87501, are available from 10:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and P.O. Box mail services are available from 9:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The DeVargas Post Office can be accessed through the center’s north mall entrance near Great Clips.
For the past five weeks, DeVargas Post Office customers had been picking up mail at the Santa Fe Main Post Office.
“When you come into our lobby, you’ll see that we’re limiting the number of customers in the facility to five at one time,” said Fetterhoff Jr. “There may be lines on the floor to help customers in the queue to maintain a safe distance from each other, and you may also see a plastic barrier or sheeting at the counter to protect you and our employees. Once you’ve placed your items on the counter, the retail associate will ask you to step back while they process your transaction.”
