What:

The U.S. Postal Service is sending out a postcard for the Chimayo Post Office located at 724 State Highway 76, Chimayo, NM 87522-9998.

Background:

Due to a fire that destroyed the Post Office, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail services to a yet-to-be-determined location within three miles from the previous Post Office. The desired size of the new facility needs to be approximately 3,000 gross square feet with 22+ dedicated parking.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue temporarily at the Santa Cruz NM Post Office until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
