USPS Services Restored in Ruidoso Fire area

Alto, Hollywood, Ruidoso, and Ruidoso Downs Post Offices are open

RUIDOSO, NEW MEXICO – Postal services in the areas affected by the South Fork and Salt Fires have been restored with the lifting of the evacuation orders.  

Alto Post Office             100 Sun Valley RD, Alto, NM  88312
Hours: M-F 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Sat 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Hollywood Post Office   25959 US Highway 70, Ruidoso, NM 88345
Hours: M-F 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m./12:30 -3:30 p.m. Sat closed

Ruidoso Post Office      1090 Mechem Dr, Ruidoso, NM 88345
Hours: M-F 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Sat 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Ruidoso Downs             26336 US Highway 70, Ruidoso Downs, NM 88346
Hours: M-F 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Sat 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Post Offices are open for full operations including delivery, except for within burn areas as directed by local authorities. Customers in those areas can pick up their mail at their respective Post Office and are reminded to provide proper photo ID to get their mail.
