Postal Services in Pecos Valley Due to Flooding

Some temporary service interruptions possible

ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO — As a result of the flooding in the Pecos Valley over the weekend of October 19, some postal services may experience temporary interruptions. Please see below for impacted offices.

Roswell: Walker Station, 5904 S. Main St., Roswell, NM, is temporarily closed due to flooding. Customers may pick up mail at the Roswell Annex during the hours below and are reminded to bring proper identification.

497 W Brasher Rd., Roswell, NM

Hours: Monday – Friday: 10 am – 2 pm, 3 pm - 5:00 pm
Saturday: 2 pm – 5 pm; Sunday: closed
This office does not have retail services.

For retail services, go to Roswell Main Post Office located at 415 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Roswell, NM. Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am – 5 pm; Saturday 9 am – 12 pm; closed Sunday.

Retail and PO Box services for Dexter Post Office, located at 302 S. Lincoln Ave., Dexter, NM are temporarily relocated to the Hagerman Post Office. Hours for mail pick up and retail services are:

108 E. Argyle St., Hagerman, NM

Hours: Mon – Friday: 7 am – 5 pm
Saturday: 8 am – 10 am; Sunday: Closed

Some mail delivery serviced by Dexter and Hagerman Post Offices may encounter temporary interruption due to impassable or unsafe road conditions. Customers in areas where letter carriers cannot safely deliver can pick up their mail the next day at the Hagerman Post Office during the hours listed above.  Customer are reminded to bring proper identification. 

Mail delivery in impacted areas will resume and offices will reopen once it is safe to do so.
