Multiple positions available in cities across northern Nevada
RENO, NV – The U.S. Postal Service wants you! This Saturday, the Postal Service is holding a job fair to help applicants successfully apply for open positions and learn how to become part of the team.
When: Saturday, March 9 from 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: Reno Main Post Office, 2000 Vassar Street, Reno, NV, 89502
Open positions include postal support employees, city carrier assistants, rural carrier assistants, and casual mail handlers. These positions are available in Reno, Sparks, Carson City, South Lake Tahoe, Incline Village and Truckee. The hourly wages range from $14.50 to $17.78.
Representatives will be hand to answer questions about the job requirements, pay, opportunities, and how to navigate the online application process at www.usps.com/careers.
Applicants must be 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a high school diploma. Applicants must be able to pass drug screening, criminal background and other Postal Service tests.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
