Background:

On August 21, 2019, Public Law No: 116-45 designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 404 S. Boulder Hwy in Henderson, Nevada, as the “Henderson Veterans Memorial Post Office Building.”

Monday’s ceremony will mark the official designation of the postal facility.

This dedication symbolizes the dedication, spirit, and courage of veterans in Henderson and across the nation. The Henderson Veterans Memorial Post Office Building will serve as a reminder to all who enter the Henderson Post Office of those who have served the nation in the military and the sacrifices they have made on this nation’s behalf.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
