The Postal Service plans months ahead for the holiday season. It is a busy and rewarding time for Reno postal employees as they work around the clock for their customers to ensure all holiday cards and packages are processed and delivered on-time.

2023 USPS Holiday Shipping and Mailing Deadlines

To allow for the timely delivery of cards, letters and packages by Dec. 25th, the U.S. Postal Service is providing 2023 holiday shipping and mailing deadlines:

USPS Job Fair in Sparks:

The Postal Service is hosting a job fair in Sparks to fill immediate openings for letter carriers and retail associates. This is our final job fair of calendar year 2023.

To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be on-site to provide detailed information about the positions, answer questions, and walk future employees through the application process step by step. Starting pay is $19 per hour and up, depending on the position.
