The Logandale Post Office is hosting a special Passport Fair at which postal employees will accept applications for new U.S. passports.

“Processing of passport applications can take between six to eight weeks,” said Logandale Postmaster Wendy Snelling. “We’re holding this special event to help customers complete their new passport application forms, proper documentation, and get passport photos to help minimize the stress of sending in an application.

“We know it can be difficult to make time to schedule an appointment to visit a post office. With this event, we want to make the process a little easier and help our customers get to their international travels with their new passport.”

Background:

Customers attending this event will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is not required.

Passport photo services are available for those who need it.

Routine and expedited new passport applications will both be accepted. Payment of U.S. Passport Agency fees must be made with cash, debit cards, or money orders.

Applicants are advised to complete their DS-11 new passport application in advance, print it and bring it unsigned to the event with an acceptable passport photo (or have one taken at the event), fees, and documents. The DS-11 application form can be found at:
