USPS Opens Renovated Facility for Downtown Community

The United States Postal Service is pleased to announce the re-opening of the Las Vegas Downtown Post Office Station after extensive renovation of the building. The new facility will be open for regular business on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 9 a.m.

Hours: Mon – Fri 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. / 1 p.m. – 5 pm
Closed: Saturday and Sunday.

Background:

The Las Vegas Downtown Post Office will reopen in a beautifully renovated space of the historic building on S. Las Vegas Boulevard, continuing to serve the downtown community. The Post Office station has been operating out of a temporary trailer on site while the extensive work was completed by the Dapper Company. 

“We’ve spent the last few years renovating the inside and outside of this historic building,” noted J Dapper, owner of Dapper Companies and owner of 201 S. Las Vegas Blvd. “We’re confident both the postal employees and their customers will find the new space more conducive to their needs.”

The office services a variety of customers including the courts, government offices, businesses, and residents.

“The spacious and beautifully designed facility will provide a welcome and fresh experience for our customers in the downtown area,” said acting Las Vegas Postmaster Frank Lemos. “We are happy to be back in the building.”
