Background:

The Las Vegas Downtown Post Office will reopen it’s doors from the new facility in the historic building formerly known as the Nevada Savings and Loan Association Building.  Since the extensive renovations by the Dapper Company began, the Post Office station has been operating out of a temporary trailer on site.

“We’ve spent the last few years renovating the inside and outside of this historic building,” noted J Dapper, owner of Dapper Companies and owner of 201 S. Las Vegas Blvd. “We’re confident both the postal employees and their customers will find the new space more conducive to their needs.”

The office services a variety of customers including the courts, government offices, businesses, and residents.

“The Postal Service is modernizing for the current needs of our customers while maintaining that person-to-person connection we know is invaluable when trusting us with your important communication and shipping needs. said acting Las Vegas Postmaster Frank Lemos. “We are thrilled to be back in this building and to have a state of the art facility to operate out of for many years to come.”
