The Postal Service is kicking off the 106th year of Operation Santa. Join us to read letters addressed to Santa and interview postal service experts regarding the time honored tradition. Operation Santa will also be joined by 2018 Community Elf-in-Charge from the Magnet Theater.

Background:

Operation Santa is a letter adoption program enabling members of the public and charitable organizations to respond to letters addressed to Santa Claus.

New York’s Operation Santa program opens to the public on December 3rd and runs through January 4th. Letters can be adopted Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm and Thursday until 7 p.m. – and letters can also be viewed and adopted online starting December 3rd by visiting delivercheer.com.

Individuals and Organizations will be asked to provide valid identification and sign an official Operation Santa organization or individual participation form before accessing letters for adoption.
