Fairport Post Office Reunification Public Meeting

Proposal to move retail operations back to Fairport Carrier Annex

U.S. Postal Service is proposing the reunification of the Fairport retail operation back into the Carrier Annex at 770 Ayrault Road, Fairport, NY 14450.

Background:

In 2000, USPS separated Fairport retail from delivery operations due to space constraints. In 2020, the lease for the Fairport Post Office retail space at 6740 Pittsford-Palmyra Road expires. USPS is proposing the return of the retail operations to its original site at the carrier operation, 770 Ayrault Road, a postal-owned facility.

On January 23, 2019 at 6 p.m., representatives from the Post Office will be holding a public meeting at the Perinton Town Hall, 1350 Turk Hill Road to discuss the proposal.

Additionally, for 30 days after the public meeting, anyone may submit written comments to the address below for the Postal Service’s consideration prior to its final decision:
