NEW YORK, NY — While most federal locations will be closed because of the Presidents Day holiday, the US Postal Service in New York City has special passport-only office hours from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Post Offices across all five boroughs.
That means that on Monday, February 18, customers can stop by the following Post Offices to obtain or renew their travel document – just in time for warmer weather!
Passports now take around 6 to 8 weeks to process, so whether it is for winter getaways, spring breaks, or simply updating your expired travel document, the Post Office has you covered!
All information on passport applications, procedures and fees can be attained by contacting your local Post Office or by visiting: usps.com/passport.
